Desoft participates in Expo Virtual Germany Latin America 2021.

The Computer Applications Company, Desoft, participates from this Tuesday until July 9 in the Virtual Expo Germany Latin America 2021, in the Pavilion dedicated to Digitalization 4.0 This is the second opportunity to attend this important event to expose products and services, among which are solutions for business management and electronic government on Odoo technology, creation of virtual stores and mobile applications, among others. Also participating in this event is Citmatel, a Cuban company of information technologies and advanced telematic services that exhibits its results in the Technologies Pavilion. For July 9, the last day of the fair, a webinar is planned on therapeutic products and the Abdala vaccine against Covid 19, developed by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB). This vaccine preparation has an efficacy of 92.28% in its unique three-dose scheme. Victory of Cuba at the UN: Resolution against the Blockade is approved.

A resounding victory was achieved by the largest of the Antilles in the United Nations General Assembly, which by 184 votes in favor, 2 against and 3 abstentions, approved the resolution “Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the States United of America against Cuba ”. The world rejects the blockade again. On the blackboards in the General Assembly Hall, the overwhelming majority of the international community in favor of Cuba and against the US government's blockade against our people was evidenced. The United States and Israel repeated this year as the countries in opposing the resolution. Colombia, Ukraine and Brazil abstained. Since 1992, the United Nations General Assembly has approved the Cuban resolution with a growing majority and thus demanded the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has imposed on the island for more than 60 years.

Desoft signs a partnership agreement with the Belgian company Odoo S.A..

The introduction of this management platform in the Cuban market will represent a substantial change towards the digital transformation of our institutions, not only in the comprehensiveness with which processes can be managed from the adoption of good international practices, but also in the way of providing technological services, under the software as a service (SaaS) scheme implemented by Desoft in its digital ecosystem.
