The Desoft Computer Applications Company signed an association agreement with Odoo S.A. company that created the prestigious ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) type management software for the administration of the processes of any entity from different modules such as accounting, logistics, distribution, production, sales, purchases, management of the transport fleet, among others. The ERP Odoo, based on free software, is currently one of the most successful systems of this type at an international level, with more than 3 million users worldwide. With the signing of this document, the Cuban company benefits from access to project code repositories, sales training and webinars, training and access to the knowledge base of this technology, as well as the expansion of its business possibilities in the international market and the recognition and visibility that comes from being part of the global network of Odoo associates. Desoft has developed a Cuban localization of this ERP in accordance with our business and legislative standards, with several modules that allow managing different areas of an entity and sharing the data that is generated with all departments, giving rise to a unified system that automates the internal processes of organizations. This tool articulated by modules or applications, allows each client to implement only those modules that they require and add or eliminate others, depending on their needs. The interface of the Odoo Cuban Location, accessible from the computational cloud, allows management from any computer regardless of the operating system, including mobile devices. This technology provides tools for communication and digital commerce, such as intranets, chat, event forums and virtual stores, which broaden our horizons towards the new era of digitization and open the way for joint projects, such as the electronic hardware store "Your solution" developed by Desoft and the Solintel Company to provide services to the self-employed.
The introduction of this management platform in the Cuban market will represent a substantial change towards the digital transformation of our institutions, not only in the comprehensiveness with which processes can be managed from the adoption of good international practices, but also in the way of providing technological services, under the software as a service (SaaS) scheme implemented by Desoft in its digital ecosystem.
