FELTti2021 will launch a platform for virtual events developed by Desoft

30 August 2021

FELTti2021 will launch a platform for virtual events developed by Desoft.

Unlike previous editions, and motivated by the global epidemiological situation in the face of Covid19, the Forum of Entrepreneurs and Leaders in Information Technologies known as FELTi, will be held next September only in virtual format. To achieve this, the Desoft Computer Applications Company, through its representation in Havana, developed a platform for this type of event which they have called Fevexpo. The engineer Yulennys Suárez Ramírez, a member of the developer team, explained that they created a computer system where virtual events are hosted with general and / or specific functionalities for each one of them according to their characteristics. The objective, explained Suárez, is to simulate what happens in a physical event, but now in a virtual way, which includes stands, pavilions, conference rooms, an information bureau, and the possibility of interacting in each of these. One of the advantages of this new service is that virtual events will previously have a website that is launched in advance to promote it and during it, the page will show all the participants who register as exhibitors or visitors; In addition, all the products and services exhibited in the different areas, conferences, presentations or launches of new products and businesses can be consulted, he added. In the case of FELTi, argued the engineer, business rounds can be held during the three days by chat and participate in a virtual fair that will be organized by pavilions according to the exhibitors' themes. In these virtual stands, videos, documents, images will be consulted, go to the social networks and websites of the participating entities and manage appointments and exchanges through a chat.
