  • Does Desoft only market its products under Software as a Service (SaaS)?

    For some years, Desoft has assumed a business model based on the commercialization of Software as a Service (SaaS), recognizing it as a trend in the ICT sector at an international level and as a way of efficient and secure computerization of Cuban society. However, as part of a productive chain with companies in the sector, it also includes in its portfolio, products that are marketed under a traditional license sale model, so our services are marketed through three modes:

    - Local services (on-premise): Represents the traditional model where services and applications are provided in the client's infrastructure. Under this modality, several schemes are used:

    • For Desoft's own products, the client subscribes to an application obtaining the right to its maintenance and evolution, under a periodic release scheme, and to a level 1 support during the time that they pay for its use.

    • For third-party products with which Desoft has commercial agreements, the customer obtains an annual use license and subsequently a maintenance or update of the license (generally it is a% of the value of the license).

    • Applications developed to measure, from the contracting of a software development project that responds to the specific needs of the Client and with which it shares the intellectual property.

    - SaaS services: Desoft as an IT service provider hosts in its Virtual Data Center the applications (its own or those of third parties) that customers consume using devices with a browser and Internet access.

    - Cloud Services: Unlike the previous model, customers connect to Desoft's digital ecosystem and consume the services as they are offered, not requiring prior diagnostics, customization, or payments for deployments.

  • Can the computer systems that Desoft sells be integrated with other systems that are already implemented in my entity?

    Yes, the computer systems included in the company's Products and Services Portfolio can be integrated with other systems, through an application programming interface, also known by its acronym in English as APIs that allow access to the backend of third-party applications with in order to reuse already created services.

  • Do you provide support services for the effective and efficient adoption of the computer systems by customers?

    Yes, Desoft provides services to maintain a constant accompaniment to its clients in the adoption process of the computer system that they request. Among them are:

    Training

    It is developed at the client's home to improve employee performance, includes practice with tools, equipment, documents or materials that will be used on a daily basis.

    Accompaniment

    It is executed at the client's workstation. For customer support actions after the deployment service of an IT solution has been executed by DESOFT.

    Outsourced IT operations and functions services. (Outsourcing)

    External services of IT functions and operations, in order to support all the actions inherent to the computer services necessary for the client. It does not necessarily have to be done at the client's job.

    Technical support

    Service that allows to maintain technical assistance, for the solution of problems that arise in the efficient use of our computer products and services. In the case of products, it includes the right to update with the new versions that are released during the contracted period, a cost that is included in the monthly payment of the application subscription.

  • What are the benefits that it would bring to Non-State Forms of Management, the export services that Desoft can provide you?

    As one of the 37 companies approved in the country to facilitate foreign trade activity to Non-State Management Forms (in our specific case related to the export of computer products and services), Desoft directs its immediate efforts in organizing this new activity within the company, establishing an Action Plan to formally structure the process.

    Yes, a few years ago Desoft started a process of change, whose strategy was focused on moving towards a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model, in great demand in the market for its ability to offer greater guarantees, flexibility and support, affordable to all customers.
