ExpoDesoft 2023: A trip inside the Cuban state company.

As part of the activities for the 25th anniversary of Desoft, a Computer Applications Company, the ExpoDesoft 2023 virtual fair was inaugurated on February 9, with products and services marketed by this organization, a kind of family meeting with its current and potential clients. All those interested can access the event and to visit the stands they must register for free as a visitor, client or professional and tour nine spaces that group the products of the company's main business lines. In addition, it is possible to go to thematic rooms, view and download videos, catalogs, and documents, as well as request commercial offers.

The exhibition uses the benefits of the first Cuban platform for virtual and hybrid events Fevexpo, developed by Desoft, with which several national and international events have been held in our country to date.

With ExpoDesoft 2023, a new functionality is added to the Cuban event platform, since companies and institutions will be able to organize similar exhibitions in order to promote their products and services and exchange experiences with their consumers and interested parties, as well as celebrate special events.

Desoft celebrated a special morning meeting for its anniversary.

The Computer Applications Company, Desoft, celebrated its 25th anniversary throughout the country with multiple activities, including a special morning meeting with the presence of the Minister of Communications of Cuba, Mayra Averich, the President of the Geic Business Group, Ariadne Plascencia and the performance of the children of the Colmenita.

Mayra Averich, in her words, recognized that the company has worked with great commitment since the beginning of the work for computerization and today has an important role not only in the digital transformation at the national level, but also because of its responsibility to contribute to local development. .

The head of the Ministry of Communications highlighted the commitment and desire to always make visible in their exchanges with workers in all territories where the company is present. In another moment of his speech, he recognized that last year Desoft worked on innovative projects with great impact on the lives of Cubans.

For her part, the President of the Computer and Communications Business Group congratulated the workers and described Desoft as the flagship of computerization in Cuba, which means great pride and at the same time a great commitment.

They analyze the results of Desoft during the year 2022.

Desoft held its work meeting this Thursday to analyze the business results in 2022 and the strategic objectives for this year. It was a difficult year for the entity with a very tense plan where profits reached 97% although it complied with its obligations with the State budget Revenues reached 99% despite the difficulties with the country's electrical situation and the lack of fuel, and exports grew by 20% in relation to the annual plan.

As part of the Desoft Balance, the most outstanding Territorial Divisions, national cadres and new managers who, despite their youth, assumed the task of leading their groups, were recognized.

The meeting was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Union of Communications, Information Technology and Electronics Workers, Erlin Rondón Cedeño, the President of Geic Ariadne Plascencia Castro, the General Director of Desoft, Luis Guillermo Fernández Pérez, the national and territorial directors and other guests related to the work of the company.
