Desoft held its work meeting this Thursday to analyze the business results in 2022 and the strategic objectives for this year. It was a difficult year for the entity with a very tense plan where profits reached 97% although it complied with its obligations with the State budget Revenues reached 99% despite the difficulties with the country's electrical situation and the lack of fuel, and exports grew by 20% in relation to the annual plan.
As part of the Desoft Balance, the most outstanding Territorial Divisions, national cadres and new managers who, despite their youth, assumed the task of leading their groups, were recognized.
The meeting was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Union of Communications, Information Technology and Electronics Workers, Erlin Rondón Cedeño, the President of Geic Ariadne Plascencia Castro, the General Director of Desoft, Luis Guillermo Fernández Pérez, the national and territorial directors and other guests related to the work of the company.
At the closing of the Balance of Desoft's results in 2022 and the projections for it, the President of the Computer Science and Communications Business Group (Geic) Ariadne Plascencia Castro, pointed out that last year had great complexities and despite this the company maintained the lines associated with its strategy. However, for this it has the challenge of continuing to advance in this strategy from having defined the human and technological resources necessary to implement it, for which it is essential to print a greater speed to the purposes. It is important to prepare new leaders in the company as its staff is mostly young, as well as to strengthen Desoft's technological core and multiply it in each of the territories where it is present, the board of directors also pointed out.
