Second National Desoft Workshop on MSMEs.

As part of the structural transformation process of the Computer Applications Company, Desoft held by videoconference this Thursday, the Second National Workshop on the company's MSMEs, which was attended by Dr. Agustín Lage Dávila, Labor Hero and advisor to the president of the Biocubafarma Group, who has been linked to our organization for some time.

During the meeting, Noelis Izquierdo, director of the Directorate of Business Development Services of the Headquarters, reminded those present that the Statutes of MSMEs indicate four foundational requirements related to the fact that they must be technology-based entities, be inserted in the digital transformation of their territories, carry out export activities and establish alliances and chains with other entities based on the business model assumed by the company.

In this workshop, the experiences of Desoft Cienfuegos, close to becoming a Mipyme, ASI (Computer Consulting and Solutions) the Mipyme of Las Tunas and the UEB of the company in Santiago de Cuba were heard. When speaking, Dr. Lage acknowledged that Desoft's experience is advancing and in each meeting more details are evident.

He recommended that all the initiatives of this process must be expressed in Plan 2024, a plan that must be serious but bold at the same time. Later he recommended having a greater knowledge of the market and the need to bring together all of Desoft's studies and experiences in this regard, for which a team must be created that integrates all the information in this regard.

He also warned about the need to share experiences about exports in an industry like ours, for which it is essential to create a permanent space to which other entities in the country also dedicated to exports can join with dissimilar results. We must create, Lage said, a kind of learning network on this issue of export management, as well as have greater links with the country's academic world. Before saying goodbye, he acknowledged that at events like this one at Desoft, you learn a lot.
