As part of the V edition of the Innovation Contest for Society “INNOVA 2023”, organized by the Computer and Communications Business Group (Geic), two Desoft works selected in the Software and Computer Solutions category were presented on this day. .
These works were "Evaluation of sustainable development through indicators using dashboards to facilitate decision making", by Desoft Villa Clara and "PROVEA: Market and Business Platform", corresponding to Desoft Matanzas The event, based at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, was chaired by Ariadne Plasencia Castro, president of Geic; Amaurys López García, vice president of Geic and Elizabeth García Cuesta, director of Technological Development of the business group.
Desoft was also represented by its general director, Dany Valiente Prieto and the director of the Division in Matanzas, Manuel Venero Lauzurica. This edition of Innova had as its essential objective the presentation of works that constitute contributions to the digital transformation in Cuba, it was also intended to encourage the development of innovative solutions that increase citizens' access to ICT, as well as solutions related to cybersecurity.
Workers from the IT and communications sector, both from state institutions and non-state forms of management, students, researchers and professors from the country's universities participated in it.
