Desoft at Expo Aladi- Cuba 2023.

Engineer Dany Jesús Valiente, director of the Computer Applications Company, Desoft, represents our company at Expo Aladi-Cuba 2023: Multisector Business Macrorround that began this Monday in Havana and will last until Wednesday at the Pabexpo fairgrounds.

During the day this Tuesday, the director of Desoft will have exchanges with the Cuban MSME CONTVAL S.R.L, dedicated to consulting on accounting issues, as well as with the companies IROUTE SOLUTIONS S.A, SOA CONSULTING WORLD and BONJOURSOFT MÉXICO S.A, from Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico respectively.

The vast majority of foreign companies are essentially dedicated to the world of software. For the first time, a Caribbean nation is hosting the largest business event of the Latin American Integration Association (Aladi) and constitutes an opportunity for Cuban entities, whose commercial and financial operations are hindered by the intensified US blockade.

Innovation and technological advances at UCIENCIA 2023 International Scientific Convention.

The UCIENCIA 2023 International Scientific Convention begins its fifth edition, bringing together academic experts and professionals in the field of computing from various regions of the world. This biannual event, considered among the most important in the field of technology and innovation in Cuba, will take place from September 27 to 29 at the Meliá Internacional Varadero Hotel.

Over three days, there will be a series of conferences, workshops, panels and presentations of cutting-edge research in various areas of computer science. The main objective of the conference is to encourage the exchange of knowledge, promote collaboration between professionals, academics and the business sector and explore the latest trends and advances in the discipline.

Following tradition, the space will promote scientific debate, dedicated to training, research, development and innovation. To everyone's delight, our great scientific event resumes in-person mode this year. Extensive coverage will also be provided through live broadcasts and interactive debates with co-authors of international works who do not attend in person. The Convention can be followed from the UCI's institutional profiles on social networks, especially on YouTube and Picta.

Of the 466 scientific contributions received, 292 were selected after a rigorous arbitration process. Participants from 26 countries will attend the contest, with the greatest representation being Germany, Peru, China, Russia, Colombia, Spain and Mexico, together with Cuba. The event has been conceived as a forum, an expression of knowledge of the main topics that set trends in the field of computing, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, cybersecurity, computational mathematics and bioinformatics with emphasis on digital transformation of Cuban society, as well as the internationalization of university processes, the management of scientific and technological parks and the training of engineers in Computer Science.

Informatics, exchange event in the ICT sector.

Cuba will hold the 19th edition of the International Computer Convention and Fair, from March 18 to 22, 2024, at its usual venues at the Havana Convention Palace and at the Pabexpo Fairgrounds.

Every two years, the world of technology meets for an event that marks a milestone in the innovation calendar: the Cuba International Computer Science Convention and Fair.

This unique event not only brings together professionals, experts and technology followers, but also plays a crucial role in promoting technological advancement and global collaboration in a country that has demonstrated its commitment to progress in the digital sphere. The 2024 International Computer Science Convention and Fair is organized by the Ministry of Communications (Mincom), the Computer Science and Communications Business Group (GEIC) and the Union of Computer Scientists of Cuba (UIC).
