Cuban Ministry of Labor and Social Security with new portal.

Specialists from the Computer Applications Company, Desoft in Havana made a new version of the portal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Cuba. The new site with a more attractive design, improves the usability elements in the interfaces, so that it is more accessible to any type of user, allows the administration of the contents and its “Citizen Attention” section facilitates the feedback from the completion of forms. Other benefits are in its section “Job Offers”, with the existing job options in the country, the interactive map with the data of all the provincial dependencies of that ministry, as well as the sections for downloading legal regulations and applications . Its developers add that it is a modern website, with multilanguage, capable of interacting with social networks, facilitating the analysis of visit statistics and being seen in all kinds of digital support.

They analyze results of the Electronic Government Project.

Through the videoconferencing system with links to all Cuban provinces, the Annual Balance of the Desoft Electronic Government Project was carried out, where the most important results in 2020 and the projections for this year were analyzed. Elena Real, head of the project and director of the Territorial Division in Pinar de Río, mentioned among the main achievements the fact of having the 147 contracted citizen portals online, implementing the SSL certificates on the sites: Cuba ads (www.anuncioscuba.cu) , digital TV programming guide (eprog.tvcdigital.cu) and integrated into citizen portals and on the Citizen Service site (www.atencionciudadana.cu) The specialist also highlighted that the services with the National Software Quality Center (Calisoft) were resumed and permanent monitoring, implementation and production of improvements are maintained from the analysis of the results of the tools of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI )
