Fevexpo Platform presented at Tourism event.

The first Cuban platform for events and virtual fairs carried out by the Desoft Computer Applications Company was presented this Tuesday during the launch of the Cuba 2022 - 2023 Calendar of Events and the Catalog of Facilities for the Organization of Events, an appointment organized by the Ministry of Tourism in the capital.

Ariadna Curbelo Garcia, Director of the Desoft Habana Division made the presentation in which she highlighted the facilities of this product for holding events by the tourism sector.

The directive pointed out that it is developed on Odoo technology, an open source business software used by more than five million people in the world and allows the organizers of events or fairs to have a website open beforehand for promotion and later during the event. appointment, show all participants who register as exhibitors or visitors; also consult all the products and services exhibited in the different areas, conferences, presentations or launches of new products and businesses.

Desoft's experience in # AmericaAccesible2021.

During the session "Gender equality and empowerment of girls and women through ICT" on the last day of the # AmericaAccesible2021 event, the experiences of women in the computer sector were presented with the participation of Daisy Diana Vargas Vento , Desoft Business Deputy Director

His presentation entitled "Resilience and transformation during the pandemic: women from the ICT" aimed to convey the experience of women with responsibilities in a leading company in the ICT sector in the country, who have known how to reinvent themselves in times of pandemic as well how to contribute to the empowerment of women in the sector, by proposing some elements derived from experience to promote their potential.

The directive highlighted in its intervention that in times of Covid19 there was a false feeling that when you are at home you work less when in reality there is a simultaneity of tasks, not only domestic and work, but also those related to the education of the children and the care of the family She also referred to the actions that can promote the participation of women in ICT after the critical moments of the pandemic, such as making working hours more flexible, without completely eliminating social activity and office days, ensuring connectivity, access to Internet and communication tools, as well as access to training and education, mainly at a distance.

Desoft executives meet with representatives of German businessmen.

On the occasion of the visit to Cuba of Michael Schulze, director of the Magdeburg Chamber of Commerce (IHK Magdeburg) of Germany and its International Markets department, a meeting was held with Luis Guillermo Fernández, General Director of Desoft, Luis Jorge Fernández and Carolina Amador, director of the Business Division and export specialist, both from that computer applications company.

Among the topics discussed were the participation of IHK Magdeburg in the XVIII edition of the International Computer Convention and Fair to be held in March 2022, as well as the interest of our country that German companies invest in Cuba and Desoft can offer them support in the area of information technologies, for example the platform for virtual events called Fevexpo.

During the exchange, Desoft's Managing Director proposed that, within the framework of the 2022 International Computer Fair, an event be held via video conference between Desoft and German companies that do not attend that event in person.
