They analyze results of Desoft in the year 2021.
With the presence of Ariadne Plasencia Castro, President of the Informatics and Communications Business Group (Geic), the results of the Desoft Computer Applications Company in the past year and the objectives for this 2022 were analyzed. It was recognized that 2021 was a year of great challenges for Desoft, marked by the pandemic, the intensification of the measures imposed by the United States government and the beginning of the Ordering Task.
Despite the difficulties, the company managed to meet its economic indicators and the way of obtaining income came closer and closer to the objectives set within the digital transformation.
During the past year Desoft continued to consolidate itself as a leading company in the computerization of business and government management, strengthened its digital ecosystem and its software as a service strategy, focused on generating alliances. It also expanded its capabilities in the foreign market.
The certification of the ERP ZOOM, Cuban Localization of Odoo for its commercialization as accounting software in the country, and the association with the prestigious Belgian company Odoo S.A. for the sale of its software, were among the most relevant results.
Based on this technology, the company developed other products such as the Automated Water and Sanitation Management System (Sagas) for aqueduct and sewage companies, the Sales and Production Management System (Promac) for the Geicon business group and the development of Fevexpo, the first Cuban platform for virtual and hybrid events.
