Presentation of Desoft in the Mariel Special Development Zone.

During the Workshop Comprehensive offer of technological services of the Informatics and Communications Business Group (Geic) in the Mariel Special Development Zone, organized by the company Solitel S.A. it became known about Desoft's offers to contribute to the computerization of this strategic territory.

Daisy Diana Vargas, Business Deputy Director of Desoft, explained about the company's business model, based on software as a service (Saas) and the possibilities that customers in the area could find, based on the benefits offered by the ecosystem digital.

As part of his speech, some of the products dedicated to business management, the control of energy carriers and cybersecurity, among others, were presented.

Attendees were also shown the possibilities of Desoft to provide digital marketing services, associated with mobile telephony through SMS and the development of web pages. The workshop made it possible to learn about the diversity of comprehensive solutions offered by other companies in the business group such as Softel, Segurmatica, Movitel and Cubatel.

Vice Minister of Communications of Cuba exchanges with representatives of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, Deputy Minister of Communications of Cuba, holds a working meeting with Doreen Bogdan-Martin, director of the Development Office of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

During the meeting they reviewed the status of ITU collaboration projects with Cuba, including the identification of new areas in which other initiatives could be initiated. The Cuban deputy minister recognized the excellent organization of the World Telecommunication Development Conference while reiterating the country's will to continue working together with the ITU for a more interconnected world, updating the leadership of the efforts carried out by the country in the digital transformation and the priority given in Cuba to the participation of women in management and development work within the telecommunications sector, as well as the active participation of young people in the implementation of policies related to telecommunications and information and communication technologies.

Cuba ratifies its commitment to the International Telecommunications Union.

"Cuba ratifies its commitment to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and shares the commitment to continue working for a more interconnected, inclusive, fair and equitable world" said the Deputy Minister of Communications, Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández during his speech in the high-speed segment. level of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) to be held from June 6 to 16 in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
