Optimization and digitization of the Port of Cienfuegos will begin.

With the signing of an agreement between the Center's Port Services Company and the Science and Technology Interface Society of the Marta Abreu de Las Villas Central University (UCLV), the optimization and digitization of the Port of Cienfuegos will begin in the coming days.

“Desoft would take on the task through the creation of a technological platform that will integrate all logistics flows. In this way, the traffic of goods will be faster, with the reduction of the times by approximately 50 percent and, therefore, of the payments for the stay of the ships ”, stated Andrés Silva Delgado, director of Commercial Exploitation Operations .

Cuban party leader exchanges with Desoft executives.

During the working meeting in Desoft Habana with Mercedes Lopez Acea, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and official Omar Pérez Salomón, they spoke about the impact of the company's projects on the process of computerization of society.

In the exchange, López Acea asserted that the company is a prop in this work, with great recognition from the provincial and municipal governments.

Minister of Communications of Cuba visited Desoft.

The Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella visited on Monday the Desoft Computer Applications Company, belonging to the Computer and Communications Business Group (Geic). In the exchange, the projects that make up the company's digital ecosystem were presented in the modality of Software as a Service known by the acronym in English (SaaS) for which it works closely with the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa).
