The Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella visited on Monday the Desoft Computer Applications Company, belonging to the Computer and Communications Business Group (Geic). In the exchange, the projects that make up the company's digital ecosystem were presented in the modality of Software as a Service known by the acronym in English (SaaS) for which it works closely with the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa). Among the projects presented were the Control of Fines, Electronic Government and the ERP Zoom Cuban Location of Odoo. An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a system composed of several applications that allow managing different areas of a business, thus automating internal processes, the data generated is shared with all departments, giving rise to a unified system. Odoo has an open source "community" version and was created by the Belgian company Odoo S.A. The ERP Zoom Cuban Localization of Odoo has adapted to the conditions of our market and complies with the financial accounting regulations required by Cuban standards. The Minister of Communications of Cuba was also accompanied by the president of Etecsa, Mayra Arevich; the president of the Informatics and Communications Group (Geic), Ariadne Plasencia Castro and other directors of Mincom, Geic and Etecsa.
