This Wednesday at the headquarters of the Desoft Computer Applications Company, a meeting was held between the directors of the Chinese project and the Cuban company with the purpose of specifying the technological integration between the two, in this case associated with achieving facilities for electronic commerce.
On the Cuban side, Dany Jesús Vaiente Prieto, General Director of Desoft, Eberly Gaínza Martínez, Director of the company's Business Integration Division, Lisandra Villarino Artiaga, Director of Desoft Habana and other specialists from this last division participated.
During the exchanges, they discussed the benefits of the DM+ Computer System, developed by Desoft Habana and endorsed by the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba for the declaration of commercial merchandise and accompanying documentation. It is designed for companies that, as part of their corporate purpose, have the possibility of importing and exporting merchandise to the country.
These entities need to establish a working relationship with the General Customs of the Republic, complying with all the regulations and presenting the complementary documentation required to execute these Import/Export actions.
The PICLA project (China Latin America Industrial Park) is an initiative promoted by the governments of China and Cuba to stimulate the industrial development of Cuba and Cross-Border Electronic Commerce as a linkage platform with the Latin American market. It is developed as part of the multilateral trade policy whose main objective is the development of the industry for import substitution.
