Resources for "distance" encounters are not exactly new. However, there is no doubt that the covid-19 pandemic has infinitely launched the value of tools to transfer all possible human activities to the digital sphere: from oral hearings in Courts of Justice to meetings of Heads of State.
Combining the above with the concepts of "technological sovereignty", "digital transformation" and others that are becoming more and more frequent in Cuba, it is not surprising that Fevexpo emerged from Desoft's "laboratories", the first Cuban platform for virtual event management It is a tool that not only allows you to hold a meeting, conference or exchange, but also provides an experience that is as close as possible to the way in which these types of activities take place in the physical universe. Let's see: Fevexpo arranges the organization of the event in three stages.
The first is the previous moment, in which it is called "Organization". In exhibition fairs, the participants will be able to move from one pavilion to another, as happens in physical events, which will be identified from the arrangements made jointly between the owners of each one, the event organizers and the managers of Fevexpo .
As for holding conferences, they will be identified by rooms and you can participate in them with a visual similar to what you see in a meeting room or theater.
You can ask questions through a chat enabled for it, and you can even "zap" from one conference to another, in case two or more take place simultaneously. A Reading Room can also be created, where the participants can go to consult and/or download documents, presentations of papers, information about the authors and speakers and any other document of general interest.
For the third stage, the "Closure", the delivery of certificates of participation can be enabled, as well as the consultation of statistical data on participation in the event and access to the Memories of the same.
