In order to expedite the accreditation of Cuban deputies during the sessions of the National Assembly of People's Power at the Havana Convention Center, officials of that supreme body went to the Desoft Computer Applications Company Division in the capital. .
After several exchanges to learn about the procedures and the needs of the Assembly, two systems emerged, one for accreditations and the other for taking attendance, both interrelated.
The registration and accreditation application works from the computer desk and the information of the deputies is incorporated prior to the Parliament meetings, while the attendance, associated with the web, works from a cell phone where attendance is taken of the deputy when scanning the QR code located in their own credentials, generated with the previous system.
The phone used is linked to the computer through a local Wi-Fi network and according to the creators, in this way the work is humanized and the waiting time of the deputies in the accreditation process is reduced because they are visited when they arrive at the Convention Center and it is not essential to go to a table to register.
Once the attendance has been taken, the web application offers the facility to generate a report of the day's attendance percent and of the deputies by provinces, very valuable information for the presidency of Parliament.
These solutions have been used on two occasions and in this last session of the National Assembly it had very good results, based on the improvements made, however work continues to improve them. Desoft will continue with its strategy of working together to obtain products that meet the needs in the interests of our Parliament.
