As a result of the epidemiological situation caused by Covid19 and the isolation measures approved by the country to minimize its spread, the infrastructure group of the Desoft Technology Directorate implemented a service that allows optimizing technical assistance support to their respective clients of the accounting management software Versat Sarasola without having to go to their facilities. The service is developed from the Nextcloud tool and a web page is accessed from Desoft's internal network or over the Internet, where customers, once connected through an account created, upload their databases to be analyzed by the specialists of the business. So far, the Desoft Division in the province of Sancti Spíritus is the one that best uses this tool and according to the engineer Lídice Álvarez Pérez, deputy director of computerization of that Base Business Unit, the fact of having it has allowed them to support the Versat in clients from other provinces, without having to move to them. He added that with it, not only are the difficulties faced with social distancing resolved, but they also reduce response times to a problem and save resources. Solutions like these allow teleworking and can be implemented today by transforming the company's technological infrastructure with its own digital ecosystem. For more than 10 years, Desoft has marketed the Versat Sarasola, an accounting-financial management system created by the Datazucar company with results for the business and budgeting sector. Nextcloud is an open source cloud platform that makes it possible to host data and files between different devices (also mobile) and users. It allows you to store all kinds of files in a safe space on a server. Access can be through web interface.
