The first half of the year, still marked by the pandemic that affects not only our country, but the world in general, did not stop Desoft from fulfilling his mission; The company remained connected, productive and working safely for its clients, trying to minimize the negative impact that the epidemiological situation could bring them and taking advantage of the current reconfiguration in the Cuban worker's life, having to work in a more digital environment.
The company prepared a Contingency Plan for the period that became an essential guide for the work of Desoft's representations throughout the country. Compliance with the measures included in the aforementioned Plan allowed Desoft to prepare to continue serving the Client portfolio, which to date already amounted to more than 7,000; They also allowed it to continue providing services, especially those that, taking into account the delicate epidemiological situation, could continue to guarantee the safety of all, including support, development, mobility, sale of licenses and subscription services.
Among the most outstanding results of the period we can mention the development of 40 new municipal government portals that respond to the Electronic Government Project managed by Desoft; in addition to the structuring of several electronic commerce projects; these and others, with a positive impact on the fulfillment of one of the main objectives of all companies in the IT Sector in Cuba, to continue advancing in the process of computerization of Cuban society.
Today, when all the country's provinces, except Havana, are in the third phase of the first post-COVID-19 recovery stage, the company's Divisions in those territories resume their ways of doing in the fulfillment of their work , according to the measures corresponding to the phase in which they are already, while the Territorial Division of Havana, still in the first phase, maintains the work strategies adopted for the period, everyone aware that our main role today is next to our clients, in any of the phases in which we find ourselves.
