The new export and import possibilities of non-state management forms (FGNE), responds to one of the measures recently announced, as part of the socio-economic strategy to boost the economy in the face of the world crisis. The state companies specialized in foreign trade activity will be in charge of providing the aforementioned services to the FGNE.
In the Official Gazette of the Republic, number 59, the new legal regulations that govern operations between these two forms of management are available.
Desoft, as one of the 36 Cuban companies approved in the country to facilitate foreign trade activity to the FGNE (in our specific case related to the export of IT products and services), recognizing the importance of the issue today for strengthen and develop the economy and face the global crisis generated by COVID-19, directs all its immediate efforts to prepare its internal structure to face the activity with the efficiency and effectiveness that it deserves.
To this end, the company prepared, following precise indications from the Informatics and Communications Business Group (GEIC) and the Ministry of Communication (MINCOM), a General Plan that dictates the essential guidelines for current preparation and future implementation of the activity in question.
Following the guidelines reflected in the aforementioned General Plan, the main elements that should govern an internal procedure of action for the attention and commercial relationship with the FGNE to carry out foreign trade activities have already been identified, which will guide the company in effective compliance of its new role in the country's economy and is already in the final phase of its development, integrating all Desoft Territorial Divisions in the process, as one of its main strengths to assume this responsibility.
At the same time, work is being done on the description of the business modalities with the FGNE that can be derived from this activity, all the commercial and legal instruments necessary to be able to implement them are conceived, and familiarization meetings and recognition of business possibilities with identified TCPs are already being held. .
In a short time, the company expects to be ready to start providing export services to the FGNE and will be promoting all the details regarding the process of preparation and implementation of the activity to its target audience, through all its digital and traditional channels. , following a necessary coherence in its communication, as it will be governed by a Campaign that will begin its implementation in the month of September.
