The Suite of applications for the management of Water Resources is a system for the control, use and sustainable management of terrestrial waters, one of the prioritized actions within the Life Task, Strategic Plan of the State to mitigate climate change in the short term, medium and long term.

The software allows specialists to make practical and operational decisions in relation to the management and use of water resources. It includes the computerized management associated with the processes of: reservoir, groundwater, rain, water balance, water quality and includes a Geographic Information System (GIS) with a Comprehensive Scorecard.

Benefits:

• Plans more accurately the water available in the depths and thus make more exact schedules in the use of this exhaustible resource.
• Allows the constant monitoring of the available reserves in the aquifers at different times of the year and, accordingly, regulate the extraction in the hydrogeological sectors.
• This set of applications provides added value to the decision-making process in the hydrological sphere in nations.

It is currently used by the 17 Hydraulic Utilization Companies (EAH) of Cuba and the executives of the Land Water Management Business Group (GIAT) in the country.
