BIMAS is an executive system that offers managers of any organization the possibility of monitoring strategies, by monitoring performance indicators that are associated with the fulfillment of objectives. Part of the definition of the complete organizational chart of an organization (organizations and sub-organizations) and provides, for each level, tools for Strategic Management by Objectives. Each organization or sub-organization represented, extracts data from its management systems using a distributed agent called BIMAS Smifor, and designs and monitors its strategy through its own Balanced Scorecard using BIMAS Server.

In addition to the Balanced Scorecard (perspective-objective-indicator), it provides other instruments such as printing reports and user-configurable graphs.

BIMAS relies on basic information systems, such as accounting systems, production control systems, ERP systems and Excel books.
