Desoft, a computer applications company with 1,400 specialists in Cuba, 60 percent of whom are young graduates in information technology careers, aims to support the country's digital transformation.
The entity, with 26 years of experience and more than 7,300 clients, presents business management, positioning in the digital environment and electronic government among its service lines, its general director, engineer Dany Jesús Valiente, said at a press conference. .
The business model of this Cuban company in transformation and growth is focused on the provision of software services and is also dedicated to the development and marketing of information technology solutions, as well as the provision of associated services.
These days, said entity is the sponsor and technological provider of the XIX International Computer Convention and Fair 2024, which will be held at the Havana Convention Palace, from March 18 to 22. The motto of Informática 2024 is “For a digital society”, to socialize the results based on research, innovation and collective development, in a way that allows projecting the importance, use and capabilities provided by Information and Communication technologies in the transition to a digital society.
As part of this event, Desoft will direct the VIII International Workshop “ICT in the management of organizations”, whose days will include keynote conferences and round tables, especially referring to topics related to digital services and new business models.
The purpose of the event is to provide an appropriate framework to share the best experiences in the application of Information and Communications Technologies in business and institutional management. Likewise, Desoft will show its main products and services at the Convention Fair, which will take place at the capital's Pabexpo fairgrounds, near Havana's Convention Palace. The Computer Applications Company will also hold the “Odoo with Desoft” Workshop, which will encourage sharing experiences about this software for the management of business resources and customer relations, as well as the Cuban ERP Zoom LC Odoo localization, certified and registered as product marketable in Cuba by Desoft.
