“The internationalization of services, Desoft's work in exports in the ICT sector” was the topic presented by the company's General Director, Dany Jesús Valiente Prieto, as part of the general Fihav2023 program that began this Monday at Expocuba and will last until Friday.
During his speech, the manager explained how exports have diversified with 21 export projects for 15 clients being served so far in 2023, 5 of them with Odoo technology, the basis of the company's technological development.
He also highlighted the information technology services contract that is being executed with the Spanish company PeopleWalking with 3 active projects and which was the precedent for the International Economic Partnership Contract that Desoft currently has.
At this time, Valiente Prieto clarified, the business strategy is fundamentally directed towards companies and institutions organizing events because Cuba is a member of COCAL, Federation of Congress and Related Entities of Latin America and through the ICT section of the Chamber of Trade is expected to be strengthened within the sector's clusters and in the organizations in charge of promoting foreign trade, especially in Latin America.
At another point in his speech, he narrated the main difficulties in this sector for the Cuban business community and some of the measures that the company is adopting to increase exports in information technology services.
