It was in the Science and Technology Park of Havana on the afternoon of this Friday, a day that he described as "the best thing that had happened to him this week."

"Thank you for the honesty, sensitivity, commitment to the development of the country and the solution to the problems of the people," said the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, to a representation of young people from the telecommunications sector, with whom he held a meeting this Friday afternoon that he described as "the best thing that had happened to him this week."

Giving continuity to his exchanges with the different sectors of Cuban society, the Head of State interacted with them for about three hours, without scripts of any kind, in one of the spaces of the Havana Science and Technology Park, located on the premises of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI).

Young people from the business and budgeted system of the Ministry of Communications, the Union of Informaticians of Cuba, the Young Computer Clubs, projects incubated in the science park, the Cuban Post Office, ETECSA, the non-state sector participated in the event. , of XETID and other entities. In an environment that she described as "innovative and committed", the head of MINCOM, Mayra Arevich, argued about how information technology and telecommunications workers, especially young people, work inserted in the concept of creative resistance defended by the President of the Republic, and thus face the effects of an intensified blockade that leaves the sector losses of more than one hundred million dollars a year. Anays O'Farril Veranes, legal director of MINCOM and general secretary of the UJC committee in the organization, underlined the spirit in which the President summoned for this meeting, directed more than anything "to the things that we still have to do and we can do to improve our reality.
