The Desoft Computer Applications Company presented today the website of the first consolidated Cuban platform in the execution of virtual and hybrid events Fevexpo (www.fevexpo.cu), in the context of the entity's 25th anniversary.
Yerandy Núñez Hernández, leader of the Fevexpo project and deputy director of Development at Desoft Habana, told the press that the new site will allow various types of scientific and academic meetings to be held, as well as panels, symposiums, assemblies and conventions. During the appointment to celebrate the anniversary of Desoft,
Núñez Hernández detailed as one of the novelties of the project the inclusion of virtual rooms, which will simulate what happens in a physical space in order to improve the customer experience. The leader of Fevexpo pointed out that the presence of conference rooms, work galleries and the online lobby will allow viewing and displaying the registered works in digital format during the events and commenting on them in a debate forum.
Another functionality is the inclusion of the virtual exhibition fair with the aim of promoting company products and services in pavilions and stands, he pointed out. Likewise, other Fevexpo benefits such as online payment, survey publication, news production and marketing through mobile messaging were recognized.
Núñez Hernández declared exclusively to the Cuban News Agency that the creation of the website becomes an essential factor for the development of Fevexpo, since it will provide clients with a better experience for future events. Precisely, he highlighted the holding of meetings on the platform such as the Cuba Salud 2022 convention, the Havana International Book Fair, the International Congress on Sugar and its Derivatives.
The Fevexpo platform was used for the first time in 2021 at the Forum of Entrepreneurs and Leaders in Information Technology (Felti) and is a reflection of how much can be done in the country to achieve technological sovereignty. During the Client event, at the Tryp Habana Libre hotel, Desoft was recognized for its more than two decades of work in pursuit of the development of society through the provision of services associated with new technologies. Luis Guillermo Fernández Pérez, CEO of Desoft, highlighted at the meeting the entity's main lines of work around business management, government and electronic commerce, among others.
