Desoft participated in the Cuba-USA business forum

As part of the Cuba-USA bilateral conference recently held at the National Hotel, the ICT Panel was held, with the participation of state and private entities from this sector and representatives of other organizations and entities from other sectors of the national economy that participate in the development of computerization of the country.

The panel was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Communications of Cuba, Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, and Desoft represented us by Engineer Daisy Diana Vargas Vento, Business Deputy Director of the company's Integration Division.

In his speech, Vargas Vento explained about the essential characteristics of the Computer Applications Company, its lines of services, as well as its most strategic projects, among which are the computer programs for the Control and Management of Fines, installed in 168 offices dedicated to this activity, the provincial directorates and the national headquarters, as well as software such as Sagen and Sagas dedicated to energy issues, the first and the second to water issues.

He also explained about the electronic government project, one of the most important because it guarantees the sustainability of 15 provincial and 150 municipal portals.

Other Desoft results presented to the participants of the Cuba-USA Bilateral Conference are linked to the development of an ERP called Zoom to manage all parts of a business, based on Odoo technology, the link with the Belgian company that developed this program worldwide known and the recent International Economic Association agreement signed with the Spanish trading company PeopleWalking, the first of its kind in the area of ​​information and communication technologies.

The business forum between Cuba and the United States was organized by the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Focus Cuba group.
