The Desoft Computer Applications Company was stimulated at the 18th Convention and International Computer Fair 2022 with two awards corresponding to the Electronic Government Digital Ecosystem and Portecoos, a technological platform for integrated logistics management for the port community, the first in the category of Services and Electronic Government and Commerce Applications and the second in Management Solutions, Services and Telecommunications Infrastructure.
Another of the recognized results was the Hidrocuba solution for the management of water resources recognized with a mention in the category of Management Solutions, Services and Telecommunications Infrastructure. In total, some 30 projects were presented as part of the Cuba Stand that competed in the ICT Panorama Contest, convened by the Ministry of Communications.
The Informatics Fair was developed through the Fevexpo platform developed by Desoft, the first in Cuba for such purposes.
During the fair, products, services, solutions were exhibited; encouraging interaction between the participants of the event, whether they are exhibitors or visitors. Four countries participated in the virtual event: India, the Netherlands, the United States and Chile. This edition brought together 61 exhibitors; of which 58 are national and 3 foreign (Panamax-India, XS Infosol Pvt Ltd-India, 3y Ericsson-Holland).
A total of 301 people were registered. Likewise, the Fair had, for the first time, economic actors from the non-state management sector in Cuba, namely: Acubamos, ASSI SURL, Avengenio, Calisoft, Dofleini, Guajiritos, Ingenius, Lombao, Pyxel and XS Infosol.
The Fair had a virtual business forum for the presentation of solutions and experiences. In this space, 24 works were presented, including 21 nationals and 3 foreigners from the entities Haier-China, People Walking-Spain and S3-Latvia. The presentations that obtained the highest number of views and interaction were: Fevexpo, your platform for virtual and hybrid events; The diversification of electronic commerce from technological consignment and Digital Signature: Alternative to streamline processes. A total of 468 visits were obtained in the forum.
Likewise, Desoft, Panamax, Xetid and Guajiritos stand out among the most visited stands. For their part, Distra, EnZona, Transfermovil and Bienestar received most of the visits within the Stand Cuba virtual pavilion. Like every year, the jury of the Fair awarded prizes in the categories of services and applications of electronic government and electronic commerce, cybersecurity solutions, solutions and applications of robotics, electronics and automation and management solutions, services and telecommunications infrastructure. As well as, the grand prize of the jury to the most significant project within the Cuba stand.
