The Fourth Workshop on Informatics and Communications for Society # TICS2021, organized by the Business Group for Informatics and Communications #Geic, was held virtually with the aim of creating a conducive space to promote exchange, negotiation and collaboration between the actors linked to ICT, based on the Computerization of the Society. On this occasion, issues related to Geic's experiences in the implementation of export and import with Non-State Management Forms (Fgne), the virtual electronic hardware store "Your Solution" from the Solintel company and the introduction of Odoo technology were addressed. as a space for collaboration in Cuba. Diana Rosa González Cárdenas, project coordinator of the Business Integrating Division of the Computer Applications Company, Desoft when intervening in the event explained about Odoo and the elements that were taken into account for the development of the Cuban Location, the advantages of being Odoo partners and the collaboration space that opens with the Fgne. Engineer González Cárdenas argued that Odoo is a complete suite of business management applications, designed to cover all the business processes of an institution, regardless of the sector to which it belongs. This software emphasized, is capable of scaling the business needs with each of its applications, for example sales, finance, operations, manufacturing and human resources. Regarding the status of partners recently obtained by Desoft, he clarified that this program has three levels of partnership: ready, silver and gold. Each one carries a series of requirements and benefits for both the company and the customers and the company is preparing to be a partner ready, the entry level. Regarding the business objectives between Desoft and the Fgne, the Project Coordinator mentioned promoting the collaborative development of the Cuban Location of Odoo under the Community version, as well as increasing and providing functional and technical training capabilities to professionals dedicated to development and use, among others. During the event it was also known that Desoft has signed different contracts for export with various Non-State Management Forms dedicated to the world of computing, including Dofleini, Ingenius and Pyxel
Ariadne Plasencia Castro, president of Geic, when opening the virtual event pointed out that since the last edition the group's work has not stopped and that is why platforms to manage computer services in the community, marketing solutions, as well as experiences and results in new ways of relating in the country.
