At the headquarters of the Ministry of Communications, Subcommittee 7 on Software and Systems Engineering * approved the Quality Model for the Development of Computer Applications (MCDAI) as a Cuban standard. On the official Facebook page of Subcommittee 7 on Software and Systems Engineering, he reported: Subcommittee 7 approved the #MCDAI as a Cuban standard. The organizations, #MINCOM, #CALISOFT, #DATYS, #GEIC, #DESOFT, # TECNOMÁTICA, # SEGURMÁTICA, #SOFTEL, #CUJAE participated. It is the fruit of the work of almost 10 years of scientific research, which are collected in 11 master's theses, 25 scientific articles and the endorsement of its successful implementation in 4 organizations. Now it will be delivered to the #ONN to make its approval official. Congratulations to everybody. # VamosPorMás #CubaInformatiza For her part, the Vice Minister of Communications, Grisel Reyes León, wrote in her personal profile on Facebook: Today the proposed regulations regarding the MCDAI were approved by Subcommittee 7. This model is the result of scientific research, 11 master's theses and more than 20 scientific publications. Its effectiveness was verified through pilot tests, in real projects. The favorable criteria of the 4 organizations that have been endorsed by a level of said model are counted on. The adoption of a Cuban standard will allow the certification mechanism to be established in the near future. #CubaInformatiza and # VamosXMás * Subcommittee 7 - Software and Systems Engineering (SC7) belongs to the Technical Committee for Standardization No 18 - Information Technologies (CTN18). Both CTN18 and SC7 are homologous by the Cuban part of international standardization organizations, in particular, JTC ISO / IEC 1 Information Technology and SC 7 System and Software Engineering.
