Recently, the Portal of the National Tax Administration Office (Onat), prepared by the Computer Applications Company, Desoft, was put online, with protagonism of the Divisions of Havana and Matanzas. According to the head of the Onat, Mary Blanca Ortega, now the web is more interactive, with greater visuality and has become a new platform that allows online procedures in its Taxpayer Services section. In the Taxpayer Services section, the new options of Tax Vector, Consultation, Modification of Quotas and Suspensions are available, whose use requires the person to register with the Tax Identification Number (NIT) and the number of the barcode that appears in the RC-05, also known as the Taxpayer's Card, which guarantees the security and privacy of tax information. The Tax Vector service allows obtaining the document that taxpayers use to pay at the bank and that contains all their payments and tax obligations, which is automatically updated every time the taxpayer generates it on the portal. In the Modification of Quotas section, the modifications applied to the monthly quotas established in the case of a self-employed worker (TCP) can be seen. This benefit also allows bookkeepers to be aware of the obligations of their clients, since if they have declared all their associated taxpayers in the municipal Onat, they can consult their information and their own. Through Consultation, taxpayers can formulate proposals from the portal, whether they are discrepancies, suggestions, complaints or denunciations, which are answered by specialists from the Onat.
Finally, the Suspensions service makes known both the months suspended at the taxpayer's own request, as well as the suspensions approved by the councils of the People's Power administration. The new Tax Portal contains other options accessible to all users, whether registered taxpayers or not, among which the Legislation section stands out, where they can review and obtain the main tax regulations in PDF format, in the gazettes in which they were published. The Downloads section makes available to Internet users the different models and forms established by the Onat to declare and pay taxes or record income and expenses; as well as the computer tools designed in Microsoft Excel to calculate the tax and fill out the Affidavits of the Personal Income Tax, the Profit Tax and the Personal Income Tax of the Agricultural Sector, among others. In this section it is also possible to download the mobile applications (apk): DJ-08 entumovil, which calculates and fills out the personal income affidavit and TCP Standards that contains the legislation for self-employed workers. You can also download Transfermóvil and Enzona, the payment platforms or gateways through which the payment of taxes can be made; as well as Picta, the Cuban apk that allows you to watch videos using the national navigation megabytes. It also facilitates the installation of Telegram, which gives access to the OnatdeCuba channel and the OnatdeCuba Doubts and Comments group, where its officials answer the doubts of the subscribed users. The site also contains a description of the main Tax Procedures and Services, such as registration, cancellation, updating of data in the Taxpayers Registry; requests for the return of undue income, the presentation of appeals for reform and appeal, among others; as well as the assistance and information services provided in person at their offices, or by telephone, email and post, or through the mass media. Additionally, the portal has a counter or timer that indicates the deadline for paying the taxes, the bonuses associated with them and how many days remain to contribute them.
